Why two rates?
Commercial jobs run the system longer with higher continuous water flow than a typical residential job — that uses up the RO filter and deionization resin faster. The commercial rate accounts for that added wear. See the FAQ below for details.

How does pickup work?
Reserve your rental window online or by phone, complete the required training videos, then pick up your system at our Austin location during your confirmed window. Bring a valid ID and the card used to reserve.
What rental periods are available?
We rent by the day, week, or month. Day rentals cover a single job or route; weekly and monthly terms are built for contractors running multiple jobs without buying a second system.
Why is there a commercial rate?
Commercial jobs typically run the system for a full day with higher continuous water flow than a residential job — think pressure-washing companies covering large commercial buildings versus a typical homeowner job lasting a few hours. That extra runtime and volume uses up the RO filter and deionization resin faster, so the commercial rate accounts for the added wear on those parts.
Is a deposit required?
Yes. A refundable deposit is held at pickup and released after the system is returned on time, clean, and undamaged. Exact deposit amount is confirmed when you reserve.
Can I use the system with well water?
No. Well water is not permitted on any rental — no exceptions. Well water carries far higher levels of calcium, iron, and other minerals than city water. When the RO filter is new, it removes about 90% of those minerals, and the rest moves on to the deionization resin. On well water, that mineral load is so much higher that it burns through the resin's capacity fast and progressively damages the RO filter itself. Repeated use on well water leads to an RO filter replacement, which runs $399+. City water only.
What's the maximum working height?
The included 30-foot water-fed pole is built for second-story windows. We don't rent the extension poles needed to reliably reach a third story, and third-story reach depends heavily on foundation height and ground level — so we don't promise it. Plan on this system for 2-story jobs. Always follow the electrical hazard guidance before working near power lines at height.
Do I need training before I can rent?
Yes. The required training videos for whatever you're renting must be watched before pickup. After that, you're cleared for future rentals of the same equipment without rewatching.
